I was diagnosed with a large benign meningioma brain tumor in May of 1998 the year I was a junior at a university studying business management in Tucson, AZ. I underwent brain surgery for a little over 12 hours and have maintained my speech, vision, thinking, socializing, and ambition. I love to play music on my piano and watch the sun rise over the horizon in the music. Most of all, I am here to love others who are challenged just as I was and still am in many different ways. There is no perfect way to recover. We are all survivors in one way or another whether we reveal to the world or not. We're here on this planet to fulfill our mission and purpose in life. I would like to connect with others and share inspiration, emotional support, stories of healing and recovery and last, but not least, hope.
